Hey you,

It seems as if my life revolves around work nowadays. As absurd as this may sound I find that 'work' keeps me sane. Have I changed? Some might think so. I was once the one who spoke ever so fondly of love. I never gotten out of it but I guess some little traits of it have change. As days go by and my head wandering up further and further into clouds, I feel a tinge of emptiness.

No, this does not mean I haven't had joy. I had tonnes. In a daily basis in fact.

People, as easy as they come and go whether you may like it or not, leave little trails inside of you. The good, the bad and the cherished. *Sigh*

There's love and then there is romance. Two of which I need in a relationship. The best part about the early stages of love is the mystery. Take that out, and basically you're left with nothing. Nothing but good ol' love. So how do I, we, you, me keep that spark alive? I have no frickin' idea. I have no frickin' idea. I have no frickin' idea.

But do have a thought. Which is carry on a day at time, and hope with all my might that I one day will be answered. Not by quotes, not just by previous experience and most definitely not 'just' by prayers.

Til' then, maybe not tomorrow, not the day after or even next week, but til' that day comes, I'll keep you posted.

I have lost all sense of creativity it seems. So many things have happened around me and I have no idea where to start. I know I have promised an update. So here it is.

My life revolves around work nowadays. I don't think I even have time for myself. I haven't touched my camera for a very long time, nor have I even have time to gaze at the night sky like I used to. Busy. But to be honest, I love where I am at right now. Working keeps me sane, especially when my work involves going places, meeting people and best of all, TALK, and not to forget I have amazing people as my colleagues, I KID YOU NOT.

Mmkay. Enough of 'work'.

Luna is simply gorgeous tonight. It's been awhile since we gazed at each other. These few days she has shone ever so brightly down upon me. :D

Just so you know these two powerful emotions have something in common.

The Man Behind The Mask

The man in the mask then handed me a rose. At this point, I was certain that I knew who it was. It was my lover. He took off his mask and kissed me and hugged me so tight. He kept on saying, "I missed you so much and I love you."

The love of my life flew down to surprised me on Halloween and my two friends was his accomplice. That was the sweetest thing ever. The truth is, I dislike surprises. I dislike the fact of not able to see things coming my way.

I then recalled something Fahrie said to me during dinner before the Halloween, only now that it adds up.

Fahrie: I have a feeling tonight is going to be a good night. (smiling)

My lover told me this once, "I am coming home to you my love, this time I am bringing you a rose". He is a man of his words. That night, that particular Halloween night. He never took his eyes and hands of me and whispered 'I love you' throughout the night. It'll be a night I'll always remember.

A Movie I'll NEVER Watch

This is a movie I will never attempt to watch:

Don't get me wrong. I love dogs. Way too much.

The reason I will not attempt to watch this is because I am 100% positively sure I will bawl my eyes out. Any movie related to animals I for one, will cry. I have read about the legendary Hachiko and no, I do not like how it ends.

I know I will cry during the movie, after the movie, once in awhile when looking at my dog, Jackie, once in awhile when I unconsciously thought about it, and every other time when I purposely think about it (don't ask me why, I don't know. It just happens).

I have seriously, a soft spot for animals (even when it's animated). And this will be something I will carry on forever since the first watch.

It has been 23 times of watching Free Willy since it 1st came out in 1994. Here we are in 2010, I still can't stop tearing up when ever I do watch it. I guess the sense of losing/ being apart of someone/ something you really love gets to me. Heck, I cried watching Toy Story 3.

That's why I enjoy watching violent movies like Scarface, 300 and The Hill's Have Eyes. There aren't any character(s) to sympathize, really. Plus the movies are merciless. Angst and violence, blood splatters, oooh, I love.

Truthfully, I want to watch Hachiko so badly. But I'm scared. I might need someone to hold both my hands, hand me tissues, someone to hug and at the end, laugh. Because, I tend to feel rather silly afterwards. Hee.

Thanks to Irene Chan who tagged me on a Facebook post to this not-much-of-a-life-changing video.

My respond to this video was that I laughed non stop during the first few minutes. Then, I actually paid attention at this hypnotizing dance. My attention diverted from the dance to wondering if he was actually wearing undies. A bit after, I was thinking that he has such long, long hair. I'm guessing that if my hair was to be as long as that, may be I should do a dance video, post it on you tube, preferably semi naked of course (people might mistake my hair as a high fashion cape, hence, considered as clothes).

This video had 53,424 viewers, okeyhh. Hmm. I'd also have to grow a beard and a mustache. Then again, I am not too sure if my moves are as groovy as his.

The Expendables Hath Tickled My Funny

I watched this movie yesterday:

It has been said that The Expendables is:

And so they say. My personal opinion? The only thing that I like about this movie is/ was:

Yes. Him.

Aside from the All Star cast in this movie there was nothing memorable about it. Yes, it is full blown action packed, explosives here and there, knifes and weapons it is a pretty much predictable movie. Nothing pretty much goes wrong in the movie. Maybe its just me or was it Sylvester Stallone? Haha. (excuse me, while I snicker).

Every time I see Sylvester Stallone I felt like laughing/ laughed. I laughed when he ran, I laughed when he smiled and I laughed when he cried (on other encounters when I saw his face, popcorn got shot out from my nose). Maybe it was the botox or face-lift or what ever surgeries Hollywood surgeons practiced on him ( I guess thats why its called practice). I just could not take him seriously.

I would like to say the same goes for Mr. Terry Crews. He was Hale Caesar in the movie who happens to be a weapon specialist. He wasn't too shabby in this movie, not as bad as Sylvester but it was hard for me to take him seriously as well. Maybe it was because of this:

In a split second I recall Mr. Crews singing Vanessa Carlton's, A Thousand Miles in the White Chick.

Then, there is Jet Li. Who is named Yin Yang in this movie. Cliche much? Well we all know Jet Li knows how to fight well. In this movie he was made fun of his height. And his fights? Nothing we haven't seen him do. He did not fly. I want to see him fly. Why didn't he fly. Please tell me why? (Sorry couldn't help it, it rhymed.)

I realized that I somehow dropped my jaw a couple of times halfway throughout the movie. Then I realized it was just the sound effects.

Okay, okay, I guess I'm not giving much credit to the movie or it's all-stars. I'm too much of an imaginative person, I know, I know. It is out of my control. Do watch it though, I must say it is somehow an entertaining movie.

Why didn't I mention the other stars such as Stone Cold Steve Austin (grabs 2 cans of beer and slams it against each other, but nothing happens), Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts and bla bla bla, (oh, there was one funny eared guy but I don't know who he is) is simply because I am lazy and I don't feel like copy and pasting from Wikipedia.

My Loving Ghost

We had a fine dinner. Lit candles, classical jazz, beautiful flowers adorning the table. He cooked great dinner I must say. I felt a little embarrassed, as a lady; and still could not cook half as well as he did. I gazed at him unintentionally. Every time I tried not to look at him I failed miserably. The way he looked, his posture, his voice; he had so much love in his voice. He had a handsome face, and he was an exquisite dancer. I am a person who talks a lot, and I could see the sincerity in his eyes and attentiveness that he was actually listening.

For a mere moment, there was silence. I could not express my feelings in words. He just looked at me with those glisten in his eyes. He had the most intense eyes yet soothing. He held my hands, filling up the spaces between my fingers with his. I felt the warmth. Suddenly I felt all trembly, I felt like crying but my ego said no. He smiled, and planted a kiss on my cheek. He whispered, "I love you, I will be back. Don't you dare go anywhere". I opened my eyes slowly and he was gone. I smiled to myself and went back to sleep, hoping that tonight, this ghost will stay much longer.

It is easy to blame others during mishaps. Sometimes it's not a bad thing at all, when a day does not go your way. The good and the bad. I guess we all as mortal humans have to accept them equally. My reason to this is; if the contrast is lost, you tend to lose the appreciation. If you lose the appreciation; you will lose the value of everything.

Here's a thought to ponder upon:

The Moon is one of my favorite subject to take. Basically anything regarding the skies are my favorites in photo taking. Here is a shot of the moon from my balcony. I could have used a tripod but I do not own one so I just stopped breathing as the shutter goes on. I am a woman with many interest. I have plenty of hobbies which I enjoy and photography is one of them.

A little secret to tell you, every-time when I get the blues and is tremendously missing that special someone; I look at the night sky for comfort. I love the stars and how the moon shines its way through the night. Even for a mere moment, troubles and my worries fades at the sight of the milky way.

The Smiling Stranger

His face is bound to be available in the night scenes in Kuching.

Sadly, he is always mistreated.

He greets people with a smile and never fails to do so.

Even if it means getting disgusted looks and being made fun off all the time.

I have seen this man pass me by for years.

I have always wondered how difficult his life must have been as he is so often misunderstood.

Yet he never fails to smile.

He sells lottery results to the public and gets around town just by his two feet.

When I asked if I could take a picture with him he looked surprised.

His face lit up in an instant.

The Infamous Kiss

This impromptu infamous photograph was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt when a jubilant US sailor, grabbed a passing by nurse for a celebratory kiss as he heard that the Second World War had ended.

The kiss since then; has been seen, framed and admired all around the globe.

It was taken on 14th of August 1945 during V- J Day. (Victory over Japan Day).

The Way I See It

I had an interesting night out with some friends today. There were too many conversations going on which hardly I can remember. Only one got stuck in my head.

" Is a boyfriend or girlfriend the same as lover?"

They answered:

A: "A lover is someone whom you make love with."
B: "Someone you fool around with but has no feelings attached with."
C. "Boyfriends/ Girlfriends are the ones you are loyal to."
D:" It's the same"

The way I see it; this depends on how you really feel towards your other half.

To me it doesn't really matter what 'the love of my life is called'. My other half can be addressed as my lover, boyfriend, my partner in crime and so forth. How I see it, is that the word 'lover' comes from the word 'love' itself. To me its not just loving 'that' precious someone, but to be actually 'in love' with that person, having a relationship together with that special someone.Sadly, nowadays the term girlfriend/ boyfriend now is used merely as a status or a title. As if it's an ownership to a product (this which I detest).

"What do you call the ones that you just sleep around with?"

That would be nothing but a 'f**k buddy', a friend with benefit(s). Nothing related to love. All pure lust. Not my kinda thing if you asked me. Some are okay with it, some are not. Nothing wrong in that, it's just that I am in it for keeps. Individual preferences, kan? kan or not? There are no rights nor wrongs. Especially if it's mutual. What is wrong can be right and what is right can be wrong. It's all about perception.

That's how I see it.

No voice, no face, no memories.

How on earth I manage to feel so alone in a place with a thousand presences I begin to wonder. I dream of a placid place to be in. But I fear I would might forget even to breathe through out that silence. This monotonous life is killing me. Dreading to sleep just because I know waking up made no difference on how my days could get better just by just 'sleeping it off'.I am 23 years of age, but I feel so old.

I am lacking enthusiasm for anything I had looked forward upon. It might be because I chose to be bitter today.For apparently no reason I felt solemn and melancholic. Has everything been going my way that I had to create a dark setting to balance out my
life?

I have been optimistic my whole life. Or at least try to be.

I spend most of my nights looking up at the moon and stars. Just gazing at it without any thoughts in mind. These are my favorite escapades. I could go on FOREVER just looking up, but I never managed to. In less than an hour my neck would cramp from
craning upwards. Or if I was lying down, my back would stiffen. I am a very fidgety person mind you. Even the world's best mattress could turn out to be annoyingly comfy to me.

Although I am grateful for every single day of my life, I do dread some. I am in between a realist and a dreamer. Balancing is not my forte and neither is juggling, and I am an unefficient multi-tasker.

I am my greatest fear. For I condemn any dream of mine which I have built halfway if it does not seem convincing enough. A perfectionist was what a friend had described me. I beg to differ.

I feel like kicking myself in the head. The fact is that I am in love right now. I should be grateful for I had found myself a wonderful man. A man which managed to break the wall
I had built around me. Before you even get to the wall there was a electric fence. Right before that I had a machine gunner on guard. He broke through it all.

Aside from that I have AMAZING friends. Need I say more?

I tried to think of why am I behaving this way. Why this miserable today?

Then it hit me. It was the time of the month. The curse of Eve is here for her monthly visit.Like they say, they called it PMS because 'Mad Cow Disease' was already taken. I pretty much
agree.Mood swings here, there, every where. But in the end of the day, everything will be okay.

Sleep Laughing

Hello,

I had laughed while sleeping for more than 4 nights recently (not consecutive though). I laugh uncontrollably and I can't stop even after I am concious.

This first happened when 'he' was here with me a few weeks ago. I fell asleep,then the next thing I knew I was laughing so hard in my dreams. When I finally woke up 'teary eyed' from cracking up, I saw his puzzled face (he can't help not smiling either) starring at me.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

It might be because I had laughed too much that day, or perhaps I was too darn happy, or very much in love.

I have no idea on how or what it indicates or maybe interprets. Sleep laughing definitely beats crying yourself to sleep in every aspect.

I am not quite sure if you have experienced sleep laughing before. But if you had, I can bet that you are smiling at this entry right now.

It sure does brighten up my day and it is not often that I get awakened by own laughter. Heck, even the thought of if leaves me grinning from ear to ear.

Oh. I am not suffering from any mental disorders or illnesses. I can't prove you otherwise, but somehow you have to trust me on this.:)

I have watched this movie countless times since 4 years back. To me it is still awesome.( I also think I have mentioned about this movie a couple of times here in my blog.)

I can live without a husband but NOT without a life partner.

I am pretty sure that I can live alone,

But I'd rather not. Why? You may ask?

You see, I'd love to share my love with someone and give all my loving to.

And, I promise I will not be ashamed if he looks like this going out with me. But I'll promise you I'll get him a tasteful shirt on him birthday. Oh. I will love him no less. Don't you worry.

This world has too much of beauty, knowledge, and passion for me to not share it.

And it is too big of a world for me to be selfish.

Plus, I wouldn't mind getting stuck with another rather than my own.

I will try to survive on my own if I have to. But I will not let my heart wither. For I do not want to live with echoes of my own thoughts.

I have been thinking of doing this to myself; (notice the arms?)

But the fact of living in this country wouldn't allow me to do so. Since I'm unemployed and still a student. I can't. Believe me I am dying to. I guess I will just have to deal with just having a back piece then. Expanding what I already have, I might need at least 2 sessions or three to fill up the whole back.

Will let you know when my mind's made up (this may take a very very long while.)
